Model and Writer, Elizabeth Sawatzky was born in Oklahoma and raised in the mountains of Bethel in North Carolina, attributing her spirited and compassionate personality to the environments that nurtured her. Submitting her photos to an open-call contest by Free People, Elizabeth was given the opportunity to be shot by the esteemed photographer, Guy Aroch and be mentored by supermodel, Erin Wasson. Alongside her work within the fashion industry, Elizabeth is an accomplished poet and through her poetry, she depicts her struggles with mental health and expands upon themes such as loss, grief and transformation.
