Chicago-native Courtney Coll is a model, herbalist and founder of Potions n’ Motions, a line of all-natural and home-brewed wellness products formulated with plants and herbs sourced from local farms and gardens, including her own. Courtney is also co-founder of Doc’s Family Farms, a cannabis farm and lifestyle brand. Courtney’s natural beauty combined with her alchemist abilities make her a modern-day medicine woman and in-demand muse.
While living in Northern California, Courtney found herself immersed in growing and cultivating different plants and herbs on her family’s farm. What started as an agronomist hobby soon evolved into a budding business as Courtney began to realize the importance of plant medicine—both for herself and her community—after moving from the forest to the urban environment of Los Angeles. She started a garden in her backyard, and began immersing herself in plant health remedies. Alas, Potions n’ Motions was born. Courtney thrives off her natural connection to plants, and is passionate about introducing people to their own power to heal and supplement their health.
Courtney is the quintessential California cool girl — it was her effortless style and laid back approach to beauty that immediately caught the attention of a model scout in Venice, CA. The stunning redhead soon after started working with the top brands like Marc Jacobs, The Elder Statesman, Stussy, Realisation Par, Vince, to name a few. Courtney has been featured by publications such as VOGUE, i-D, Flaunt, Byrdie and Metal Magazine.
Courtney is currently working on releasing a Doc’s collaboration with lifestyle brand, Friends with Animals, which will include a hat, gloves, t-shirt and shorts. Her emerging brand’s debut collection was featured on Vogue.com.
"Docs Family Farms Wine is a collaboration with our favorite vineyard in Oregon. Cooper Mountain Vineyards is a Demeter certified organic and biodynamic Pino Noir. Our two worlds combined when we would talk more and more about how we are both family farms and have the same values in farming practices. I am super picky about the wine I drink because I am so focused on making sure it`s a clean as it can be with no additives, but also making sure the taste is 100% there! That being said we introduce to you a 2018 Pino Noir!" Expect many more exciting collaborations from this conscious creative.
